The three deep colours of this top-down triangular shawl express a certain mood. Choose any three colours to express a mood. Worked in worsted weight yarn, this is a warm and cozy shawl for cool days. The stitch patterns here incorporate colourwork, eyelet lace, and stockinette with a touch of garter stitch. All sections are easy to work and complement each other perfectly. The three colours used here are the same colours used in the Moody Cowl with the same colourwork pattern making the two patterns perfect complements to each other.

Yarn:
This pattern is written for three skeins of Black Cat Custom Yarns Let’s Get Worsted. At least one full skein (205 yd) of C1 is needed. (I used the whole skein. If you aren’t matching my gauge or if you know you’re a loose knitter, up to 220 yards may be required). Approximately 85 yards is needed of C2 and 155 yards of C3. Colours shown here are Void Talon (C1), Foundry (C2), and In The Navy (C3).

It is also shown here in Sweetgeorgia Superwash Worsted. Colours are Tumbled Stone (C1), Bison (C2), and Cocoa (C3). More than one skein of C1 is required to knit the pattern as written. The shawl shown here uses only one skein but with fewer rows completed in the final section.
