Snakes & Ladders Washcloth

Like the Boxy Dishcloth, this cloth is knit in a 4 stitch and 4 row repeated pattern. The ripple (snake) and column (ladder) effect of this pattern gives this cloth its fun name. Slipping the first stitch and purling the last stitch of each row keeps the cloth square and flat. And when knit in bright colours, it makes a great bath time washcloth for the kids!

  1. Is there a certain cast on and bind off style that you recommend? Or what type did you use in the images?
