Friday Follow-Up: Online Knitting Highlights For The Week of February 16th

If you have been following my Friday Follow-Ups for any amount of time, you will know that I always love the free patterns from Purl Soho on their Purl Bee blog. They are always classic, simple, and luxurious. These two recent patterns are no exception:

  • dovetail-wrap-600-7The Dovetail Wrap is a bulky shawl/wrap shown in a beautiful grey colour. I love neutrals! And I love warm, cuddly, classic accessory patterns.

  • The Reversible Cowl is gorgeous as well as very clever. It is knitted as a tube in one colour, the colour changes to a second colour, the second colour gets folded inside the first colour and the ends are grafted.
  • I’m also a big fan of the KnitPicks Independent Designer Program and I always look forward to their seasonal collections. Their new spring accessories collection is here: 2015 Spring Accessories Collection. The pattern pages can also be seen here on Ravelry.

  • And if spring isn’t quite on your horizon yet (it certainly isn’t on mine!) then how about a couple of warm cabled turtleneck sweater patterns? There is Thea Colman‘s Ommegang and Proud Mary by Mary Annarella.

Once again, there are some great patterns to choose from this week, whether you are looking for accessories, sweaters, winter, or spring!
