It’s that time of year when there is a chill in the air but some of us are just not ready to completely let go of summer. I want to layer a big shawl around my shoulders but I still need some summer brightness. From Summer To Fall is just that shawl. With lots of garter stitch, a little bit of eyelet lace, and some bright cheerful stripes, this is the perfect transition piece. This is a sideways asymmetrical shawl with a central double decrease ‘spine’ and increases at each edge. Choose your three colours and blend some summer into fall.

Yarn: Malabrigo Mechita (100% superwash merino wool; 420 yd [385 m]/3.53 oz [100 g]). Shown in Hollyhock (C1), Violin (C2), and Pearl (C3).

1 skein, or approx 295 yd [270 m]/70 g of C1,
1 skein, or approx 378 yd [346 m]/90 g of C2,
1 skein, or approx 345 yd [315 m]/82 g of C3.
