Fall is upon us in the northern hemisphere and that means it’s time to start thinking about knitting cold weather accessories like this soft warm cowl. Ruffles and Pleats uses two stitch patterns that alternate throughout. They are easy to work with only knit, purl, and slip stitches along with a simple increase and decrease. The Pleated Stitch and the Gathered Stitch both give this cowl texture and thickness that work well with this soft cashmere and silk blend yarn.
SweetGeorgia Yarns Cashsilk Lace is a beautiful and luxurious complement to this pattern. One skein is all you need. The colours shown here are mist and espresso. US size 4 (3.5 mm) needles are used so it really doesn’t take long to complete this fun pattern.
