The ruffles and pleats of this pretty cowl are soft as a cloud when worked in this gorgeous cashmere and silk blend yarn. There is nothing sweeter than this around your neck. Completing this pattern is easier than it looks. Knit, purl, slip, increase, and decrease stitches are all that are required. This cowl is worked in the round on a circular needle in one piece.
Yarn: SweetGeorgia Yarns Cashsilk Lace (45% cashmere, 55% silk; 400 yd [365 m]/1.75 oz [50 g]). 1 skein. Shown in mist and espresso.
Needles: US size 4 [3.5 mm] 24” [60 cm] circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished measurements: Approximately 8.5 inches (21 cm) tall and 11.5 inches (29 cm) wide laid flat, after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 23 inches (58 cm).
Skills required: Knitting in the round. Stitches used: k, p, sl1 pwise wyif, kfb, k2tog.
