The Gratification Hat is the fifth and final pattern in my Winter Comfort Collection. This slouchy hat is naturally asymmetrical, giving it a unique shape and style. It uses an easy slipped stitch pattern that creates a triangular section on a background of stockinette. It uses 2 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed SHELTER (shown here in the colour Fossil), or approximately 210 yards of worsted weight yarn. The pom-pom is optional, but a lot of fun to make. Here’s a second version of the Gratification Hat that I knitted in the beautiful Apple Pie colourway of Sweetgeorgia Superwash Worsted. I added a faux fur pom-pom to this one.
