So… I’m doing something a little different today. I have been noticing lately that there are lots of great knitting patterns to be found via Pinterest (you can find me here on Pinterest). I’ve come across some great patterns for knitted items for the home. Now, I’m not talking about toilet paper covers or teapot cozies (not that there’s anything wrong with those! – they just aren’t what I’m interested in). I’m talking about lush blankets, cable pillow covers, and classic dishcloth and tea towel designs. Here, take a look at what I’m talking about:
- These cable pillow cover patterns are gorgeous. They are available from LadyshipDesigns on Etsy.
- This soft and cozy blanket pattern is free and is available at Loveknitting.com. The yarn is Bernat Blanket.
- I also love this similar bright cabled blanket. The pattern is available at lionbrand.com.
- This spa towel is in the book Idiot’s Guide’s: Knitting by Megan Goodacre (available here on Amazon). See it here on Ravelry.
