This pretty little garter and lace triangular shawl is a perfect project for one skein of beautiful fingering weight yarn. The undulating lace border evokes the feeling of gentle waves tumbling onto the shoreline on a beautiful day. Shaped almost like a crescent and worked sideways from end to end, this triangular shawl shape is easy to master. Any amount of yarn may be used.
Yarn: Lichen and Lace 1ply Superwash Merino Fingering (100% superwash merino; 400 yd [366 m]/3.53 oz [100 g]). 1 skein. Shown in Beach Glass.
Needles: US size 6 [4.0 mm] needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished measurements: Approximately 17 inches (43 cm) deep at middle point and 61 inches (155 cm) long across top edge, blocked.
Skills required: Increasing, decreasing, basic eyelet lace, blocking. Stitches used: k, p, k2tog, kfb, ssk, yo.
