This garter stitch and lace cowl is a quick project worked in one skein of worsted weight yarn. The Lattice and Purl Cowl is worked in the round with the lace lattice design being repeated three times. Every second row is knit, making this a fast and easy project to complete.
Yarn: Malabrigo Rios (100% merino superwash wool; 210 yd [192 m]/3.53 oz [100 g]). 1 skein. Shown in Sand Bank.
Needles: US size 7 [4.5 mm] 16” [40 cm] circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished measurements: Approximately 8 inches (20 cm) tall and 15 inches (38 cm) wide laid flat, after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 30 inches (76 cm).
Skills required: Knitting and purling in the round, simple lace knitting. Stitches used: k, p, k2tog, S2KP2, ssk, yo.
