This one-skein cowl is perfect for any of those beautiful hand-dyed skeins of yarn, or any skein of yarn for that matter. Choose a worsted weight yarn in your favourite colour and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of working this beautifully textured combination of twisted ribbing and cable stitches for a thick and warm cowl.
Yarn: Malabrigo Rios (100% superwash merino wool; 210 yd [192 m]/3.53 oz [100 g]). 1 skein. Shown in Camel and Coco.
Needles: US size 8 [5.0 mm] 16” [40 cm] circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished Measurements: Approximately 9 inches (23 cm) tall and 11.5 inches (29 cm) wide laid flat after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 23 inches (59 cm).
Skills required: Working in the round, working crossed stitches. Stitches used: k tbl, p, p2tog, 3/4RC, 3/4LC.
