As winter weather continues you might still be looking for winter knitting inspiration. If that’s the case, my Winter Comfort Collection of cozy knitted accessories has something for everyone. I designed these accessories in cozy and soft yarns, in neutral earthy colours, and with simple and clear instructions. Check them out!

Contentment Cowl

The Contentment Cowl is a garter and lace cowl combining easy knitting with a gorgeous yarn for a simple yet luxurious project. Worked in the round, the lace pattern builds gradually and keeps the knitting interesting and quick. It is shown here in Plucky Knitter Snug Worsted.

Indulgence Wrap

The easy lace pattern of the Indulgence Wrap makes this an easy project with a dramatic result. Use a silk blend yarn to create an elegant piece that you can wear as a shawl or scarf. It’s shown here in the now discontinued Red Sock Blue Sock Yarn Lush DK but can be knit in any Dk or sport weight yarn.

Sustenance Scarf

The Sustenance Scarf is made up of stockinette stitch with alternating purl rows. It looks great from either side. Also, the alternating purl rows break up the sections of ribbing, making this a quick and easy project to complete. This long reversible scarf makes a fashion statement however you wear it and it’s perfect for either men or women. It is shown here in the now discontinued Cascade Yarns Eco Cloud which is a merino/alpaca blend. You can use any aran or worsted weight yarn.

Gratification Hat

The Gratification Hat is naturally asymmetrical, giving it a unique shape and style. The easy slipped stitch pattern gradually decreases to a peak at the top of the hat while the stockinette section grows. This creates the perfect amount of slouch. It’s shown here in Brooklyn Tweed SHELTER.

I’ve also knitted another version of this hat in SweetGeorgia Yarns Superwash Worsted. If you’re substituting yarn, you’ll need approximately 210 yards of a worsted weight.

Tranquility Infinity Scarf

Finally, the classic and clean look of k3, p1 ribbing gives the Tranquility Infinity Scarf a simple and tranquil feeling. It is a versatile piece that you can wear in various ways. It’s a closed loop cowl but it’s long enough that it looks like a scarf. Wrap it once, twice, or three times.

The ‘mock i-cord’ edge is easy to work and the worsted weight yarn makes this project quick to complete.

It is shown here in Plucky Knitter Trusty.

I hope you can find a project in this winter collection that suits you. Happy winter knitting!
