Lace edge of the Dazzling Daffodils Shawl

Do you see the outline of a flower in the lace edge of this pretty lace shawl? It looks like a daffodil to me and that’s what inspired the pattern name and my colour choice for this new shawl pattern. The Dazzling Daffodils Shawl is a sideways garter and lace shawl that is knit from one end to the other. Cast on 4 stitches to begin, increase to the middle, decrease back down to the opposite end, and bind off 4 stitches to finish. It’s a great one-skein project but can also be adapted for any amount of yarn.

I designed the Dazzling Daffodils Shawl in Hedgehog Fibres Sock Yarn in Butter. Any sock or fingering yarn will work. Choose your favourite yarn in your favourite colour and enjoy this uplifting project. The flowers will bloom from your needles while spring unfolds outside.
