The twisted ribbing and cable stitches in the new Cinnamon Sticks cowl create a beautiful thick textured fabric. It’s dense and warm and in this beautiful colourway it reminds me of curled sticks of cinnamon bark. The stitch pattern really stands out and it isn’t difficult to knit.

This is another great one-skein pattern for worsted weight yarn and, just like Winter Berries, it’s designed in Malabrigo Rios. This is the Camel colourway and it’s also shown below in Coco. I don’t know about you, but I tend to collect a lot of single skeins of beautiful hand-dyed worsted weight yarn. So I love a one-skein worsted pattern and cowls work perfectly for this!

This pattern is worked in the round. The pattern includes a stitch guide with explanations, list of abbreviations, and notes. It also includes both written and charted instructions.

  1. I am excited to have found your website. I have started on one of your shawl patterns to use up the numerous yarns I have which I don’t know what to do with (but now I do). I love your shawl pattern with the even edging. It looks so much nicer. I can’t wait to try your cable knit patterns for cowls! You have an awesome website and I love your designs! Thank you for all your beautiful art of knitting!
