Winter Berries is a pretty little cowl that uses bobbles and crossed stitches to create texture, warmth, and loads of cuteness. It’s a one skein knitting project and any beautiful skein of worsted weight yarn will work. Choose something soft and cozy that will feel great around your neck. I designed it in Malabrigo Rios in Almond Blossom.

You will work this cowl in the round. Use any bobble technique you prefer or try the 3HDC Bobble with a crochet hook as used here. The pattern includes a stitch guide with explanations, list of abbreviations, notes with video tutorial suggestions, and both written and charted instructions.

Coming next month….

Cinnamon Sticks is another one skein cowl but this time with an interesting twisted rib and crossed stitch pattern. It’s thick and warm and snuggly. It’s shown here in Malabrigo Rios in Camel.

Watch for this pattern to be released in March!
