The Foggy Day Cowl is my latest pattern and it’s a quick and easy one skein cowl in one of my all-time favourite yarns – Malabrigo Merino Worsted. As much as I love trying new yarns, it’s always nice to go back to an old favourite. This cowl is soft and squishy with big 12-stitch cables plus eyelets and decreases to keep it interesting.

This pattern uses all 210 yards (192 m) of the skein of Malabrigo Merino Worsted. If you tend to use up more yarn than suggested in patterns, it wouldn’t hurt to have a second skein on hand just in case!

The cable stitch isn’t difficult to learn and the pattern provides easy instructions to complete it. A US size 9 needle is used so the knitting goes by quickly. You’ll have a beautiful and luxurious cowl before you know it!
