Michelle The new Eyelet Chain Shawl is an asymmetrical triangular garter stitch shawl with a band of pretty lace along one edge. It starts with one stitch and increases along the top edge, then binds off along one of the side edges. It’s an easy pattern to follow and the end result is quite lovely.
Although any amount of yarn may be used, it really is the perfect one-skein project. Choose a pretty skein of sock or fingering weight yarn. Tonal yarns work particularly well with garter stitch and lace. The yarn used here is Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light in Night Bloom.
