I’ve been itching to work on a shawl pattern lately. Here are some beautiful shawl patterns that were published this week:
-
Douthat by Lynn Di Cristina is a crescent-shaped shawl with various stitch patterns and colourful stripes. I love the colourwork and the nice long length of this one.
-
The Rustic Simplicity Shawlette by Kelene Kinnersly is a little sideways shawl with a pretty scalloped edge.
-
Cercis by Susanna IC is a lacy sideways triangle that looks awesome in a bright spring colour.
-
A Certain Darkness… by Sylvia Bo Bilvia is a simple sideways shawl and it is currently free!
-
Tes by Laura Aylor is a crescent-shaped shaped shawl that uses short rows for shaping. The lovely edging uses two colours to create interest.
-
Justyna Lorkowska‘s Holyrood is large and colourful. So pretty!
- And finally, Alicia Plummer and Melissa Schaschwary are holding a Spring Skies KAL in their Ravelry group. Check it out here: Plum Dandi Spring Skies KAL. Alicia has just released Lifted, a rectangular shawl pattern, and Melissa has just released Benevolence, a sideways triangular shawl. They are both beautiful.
Feel like starting a new shawl pattern too? I highly recommend any of them!
