The Contentment Cowl is a lovely garter and lace cowl that is worked in the round in one piece. The easy lace pattern slowly builds around the circumference of the cowl and, as a result, creates a pleasing pattern. The lace pattern is easy to work plus the garter section adds a slightly rustic charm to this pretty cowl. The yarn is Plucky Knitter Snug Worsted, which is a beautiful merino and cashmere blend, so you just know this cowl is soft and squishy. The colour is Oatmeal.
The Contentment Cowl is the first pattern in the Winter Comfort Collection of five cold weather accessories.
This is a one skein worsted weight cowl pattern and it’s worked in the round on a circular needle.
Finished measurements: Approximately 15 inches (38 cm) long and 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) wide laid flat, after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 30 inches (76 cm).
