It was another busy week in the world of online knitting pattern publishing. There were a couple of beautiful collections plus a magazine issue that caught my attention.
- Quince & Co.’s Shawls 2015 Collection contains 5 beautiful shawl patterns. They were published one at a time every day this week and the collection is now complete. Patterns are from Paula Emons-Fuessle, Veera Välimäki, Melanie Berg, Bristol Ivy, and Dawn Catanzaro. It’s hard to pick a favourite but I do really like January Skies by Melanie Berg. The gradient colours are so appealing and I love the large comfortable size.
- Brooklyn Tweed’s Wool People 9 also came out this week with so many gorgeous patterns. This collection of shawls and sweaters is classic, lovely, and beautifully photographed. Again, it’s so hard to choose a favourite, but I have to mention Arbre by Andrea Rangel for it’s beauty and intricacy. This amazing lace shawl is a work of art!
- The patterns from Knitscene Fall 2015 are up on Ravelry. I love fall and winter knitting so I always look forward to the fall and winter magazine issues. The Orne Cardigan by Meiju K-P is a generously sized and cozy cardigan with a brioche collar. This issue includes an intro to brioche knitting so this looks like a great project to get started with, right??
Dive into any one of these great collections of patterns and you won’t be disappointed!
