I noticed some great knitting patterns out this week from some of my favourite Canadian designers. Check them out:
- The Winter Brunch Shawl by Laura Chau, from Toronto, is so beautiful. It is designed in Malabrigo Mecha, a gorgeous soft bulky weight yarn. It looks warm and cozy!
- Elena Nodel is a designer from Sicamous, BC. She is also the dyer behind the Colour Adventures yarn line. She has two designs in the soon to be released book, Wanderlust: 46 Modern Knits for Bohemian Style, which I mentioned last week.
The Penelope Cardigan and the Falling Leaves Pullover are both beautiful. This week Elena also released a free hat pattern: Stormy Waters.
- Jenny Faifel is another west coast designer, hailing from Port Coquitlam, BC. This week she released a cute striped top-down sweater: Inverse.
I love all these great Canadian patterns. What do you think?
