  1. Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have a question only, since i’m allergic to wool, I used 100% cotton yarn and will this method work with this yarn?

    1. That’s a great question. I haven’t tried this with cotton but cotton can be wet blocked so yes, it should work. I’ve also read that you can steam block cotton but I haven’t tried that.

  2. instead of a wool wash, can i use a regular hair conditioner when wet blocking a wool beret? thanks.

    1. I have heard other knitters say that they have used shampoo or conditioner on wool items but I have never tried it. Wool wash is made especially for wool so I trust it and use only wool wash. I hope that helps!
