This sideways garter stitch shawl is reminiscent of the Sweet Summer Shawl: light, airy, and quick to knit. It is completely reversible and takes just one skein of sock or fingering yarn. Cast on twelve stitches, work the easily memorized pattern, increase until half the yarn is used and then decrease back down to the same number of stitches that were cast on. So easy! The lace edging is knitted along with the garter stitch body. Size is adjustable, based on how much yarn is used. Choose to work from either the written instructions or charted instructions.
