Looking for quick accessory patterns to knit for winter? Let’s look back at this pair of patterns – The Bulky Lace Cowl and the Lengthy Lace Scarf. Both of these patterns use the same easy lace stitch and both can be done in bulky or aran weight yarns. It doesn’t get faster than that!

The Bulky Lace Cowl is shown here in Malabrigo Mecha, a single-ply superwash merino wool that is super soft and squishy. It is worked on a circular needle and can be worn as a long and loose scarf-like cowl or wrapped a couple times around the neck for a tighter looking cowl.

The Lengthy Lace Scarf is shown in Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky, also a merino wool yarn. It is a skinny scarf and it is worked flat.

These two patterns are so quick and easy that you can make both for yourself plus a few more for gift-giving season!
