Michelle 8 Simple Stripes is a sideways asymmetrical, or bias, shawl that is worked from one corner point to the opposite edge. Easy increase (kfb) and decrease (k2tog) stitches are alternated to create a soft triangular shape. The interesting stripe pattern keeps the knitting from ever getting boring!
This shawl is worked in one piece and the colours can be carried along the top edge, or cut and sewn in later. It is designed in Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light and shown here in Begonia Leaf (MC) and Tannehill (CC).
