It’s July. And what does that mean in the knitting world? The fall knitting magazines are out! I love the fall issues with all the cozy and warm accessories and sweaters. Check it out:

  • A big highlight for me this week is Just Enough Ruffles Light by Laura Chau. Do you remember Just Enough Ruffles? I knitted it several years ago and even blogged about it. It’s a cute scarf with a ruffled edge worked in a worsted weight yarn. The pattern is written for Malabrigo Merino Worsted. That’s what I knit mine in. This new version is written in a fingering weight. I am definitely adding this to my knitting list. It’s beautiful!
  • I’m also a big fan of Amy Miller‘s work and she has a new hat pattern out this week: G14. It’s part of her Summer Accessory KAL that runs until the end of July.
  • And finally, my list wouldn’t be complete this week without mentioning the beautiful new cardigan pattern from Ysolda Teague. It’s called Ishnana and I love the cable and lace panel on the back. Two different options are provided for the sleeve and front details. This is another one to add to my knitting list because I love classic fingering weight cardigan patterns and Ysolda’s patterns are always wonderful!
As always, I’m wishing there were more hours in the day for knitting. I am inspired by all the beautiful patterns!
