Before the seasons change, I have one last hat pattern. It’s the Bestie Slouchy and it’s a slouchy, relaxed version of the Bestie Beanie. The ribbed brim is worked for 2 inches before left and right lifted purl increases are used to enlarge the body of the hat. The Bestie Beanie cable and rib pattern is worked until the crown which is decreased to the top. Add any type of pom-pom, or not. These ones are alpaca fur pom-poms from Toft. I bought mine at LoveKnitting.com.

Just like the Bestie Beanie, the Bestie Slouchy is designed in Malabrigo Merino Worsted. It is shown here in Polar Morn and Roanoke. This soft, comfortable merino wool has great stitch definition and shows off the cables beautifully.

Watch for the newly revised Bestie Beanie pattern coming out next week. It will now include a chart for the cable and rib stitch pattern, notes, and a list of abbreviations.
